A retiring couple from Metro Manila wishes to build a home in their hometown Nueva Valencia, Guimaras Province. Their future home is primarily designed to take into account their health and wellness. Prominently adopted in the design are memory care features and spaces that integrate the new home to the larger community.
Simplicity and Order
Burton Residence - Dasmariñas City, Cavite (100 sqm)
Estimated Cost: ₱ 2.5 Million (3 bedrooms, master bedroom with ensuite toilet and bath, 2 common toilet and bath, living area, kitchen and dining area)
Following the Subdivision's required design theme Contemporary Asian, the residence design is a mix of inspiration from Japanese and Filipino architecture in a modern and simpler application. Repetition of lines and patterns using wood materials and texture were laid on a plain white walls of the structure. The simplicity of building form , patterns, and texture of material bring order and peace to the every-busy lifestye of occupants.
Pasion Residence - San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan (130 sqm)

A family of 14 is embarking to a new chapter of life as we plan their new home. Clients wanted to have a 6 bedroom residence for their parents, their children, grandchildren, and for them. Each of family member has its own character and hobbies, or hustle; hence has its own preferred home design. One member has a desired wall elements, décor, the other has preferred furniture designs. For this condition, the whole interior is treated like a blank canvass upon which one can easily impose one's interests and stories. Similar to a gallery of having less architectural detail to highlight anything displayed within.
Small but Breathable
2-Storey Apartment Camanse Residences - Marilao, Bulacan (140 sqm)
Estimated Cost: ₱ 2.5 Million (Low-cost 3-studio unit: living and dining area, kitchen with window, toilet and bath, bay window with ACU/ACCU cabinet)
- The owner wished to have a 3-unit residential apartment for the growing demand for housing in Marilao, Bulacan. Unike the usual studio-type condo unit layout, this has two windows for each unit for passive cooling. Each unit has a 25 sqm. area including an ensuite T&B, kitchen with window, a bay window with ACCU/ACU cabinet, and a den area perfectly open for any activity/layout.
Blend and Protrude
Racaza Residential expansion and renovation - Dasmariñas City, Cavite (80 sqm)
Extinated Cost: ₱ 1.5 Million (1 master bedroon, 1 bedroom, 2 common toilet and bath, living area, kitchen and dining area, garage)
- A couple from bulacan bought a townhouse unit in Dasmariñas City, Cavite to start a new life. The couple wanted a simple and modern design - far from the existing mediterranean design style of the townhouses. In order to blend, the color palete was taken from the existing residence was adapted. Wood texture is added as accent on gate, wall, and celing. While dark gray color is applied on all metal elements.
Jensen Duplexes - Canita, Rizal (340 sqm GFA for each lot, 170 sqm GFA per Residential unit)
Estimated Cost: ₱ 8.5 Million (Per unit: 2 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with walk-in closet,balcony, and ensuit toilet and bath, 2 common toilet and bath, 1 maid's room, living area, dining and kitchen area, and dirty kitchen)
The client wanted to develop 2 lot properties in Cainta, Rizal by building salable/leaseble residences. Each lot can only have 2 residences - ideally, duplex. Units have a 2-meter setback at the back for passive cooling and natural lighting. The two units are identical in floor layout but different in facade. Facade element position and material texture are asymmetrical but balanced and complementing.
Light and Views
Hamoy Residence - Marilao, Bulacan (120 sqm GFA, 450 sqm TLA)

The client approached us with a floor plan of their dream home. The floor area of their plan was about 210 square meters. Upon checking the projected construction cost, it was too high for them to proceed. We created a new plan smaller than the initial - a different layout with the same space program. With the new plan, almost all the spaces have a great view of the surrounding natural landscape. Kitchen and dining area have good view of rice paddies. Bedrooms are all located at the coolest side of the residence. During the installation of ceiling and finishing, the occupants used to stay there at the afternoon because their new home was starting to feel more comfortable to stay than their previous one.
Old Residence, New Beginnings
Aguirre Residence Expansion and Renovation - San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan
Estimated Cost: ₱ 3 Million (3 additional bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with ensuit toilet and bath, 2 common toilet and bath, a family hall, expanded kitchen and common toilet and bath)
The existing bungalow residence was built with a lot of problems. The client didn't hire design professionals and most of the decisions were only made by them. Floor elevations were different in some spaces, the built 2nd floor slab was leaking, stairs design for 2nd floor expansion was incorrect, and kitchen and toilet were not properly designed. The client came to us for help and to plan the expansion. In the new plan, design renovation of ground floor is crucial to correct existing works and change the architectural style. The owner wanted the design of their residence to be simple in form and would still utilize the built 2nd floor slab. We placed new glazings in front facade of the residence to offer a view of their compound landscape. Horzontal metal bars were placed on openings that are directly hit by sunlight.
Cozy and Breathable
Abella Residence - Mariao, Bulacan (120 sqm GFA, 550 sqm TLA)
Estimated Cost: ₱ 2 Million (Low-cost: 3 bedooms, 1 master bedroom with ensuit toilet and bath, 1 common toilet and bath, living area, dining and kitchen area, 1 daily kitchen, storage room)
The client approached us with a floor plan with their dream home spaces. The clients (a family) were very optimistic with their plan of having an open area in the middle of the house where they want to hangout. Part of their plan were other spaces that they think they needed. The discussion progressed and the client opened the issue about the budget. The collaboration continued and focused on determining the relevance of each space until we've come up with a more efficient plans. 3 options were made and this one was selected - a 4-bedroom (including a Master bedroom with ensuite T&B) with a common area (living, dining, and kitchen) at the center. To allow natural light enter the space at the center, ceiling was raised a meter more (4.2 meters above the finish floor level). Each bedroom offers a view of the surrounding natural landscape.
